- Mechanical Hard Drive

Preferences:

 

- a Intel CPU

- a nVidia GPU

- a Liquid CPU cooler

- 16GB RAM (if it's possible, otherwise 8 gigs)

- 512GB SSD (again, if it's possible, otherwise 256 gigs)

 

This PC is going to be used mostly for gaming, think about Skyrim, Gmod, Minecraft, GTA (IV and V).

You could go with a cheaper cooler such as the Coolermaster hyper evo 212. 

 

You can get faster Ram for the same sort of price i.e Kingston HyperX fury 1866MHz. You will be fine with 8GB though if you are just gaming.

 

The EVGA Supernova NEX is a pretty average psu. If you don't plan on SLI then go with a 500W or so psu. Something like the Rosewill Capstone, Seasonic G and XFX XTR are all very good. If you plan on SLI then look at the EVGA Supernova G2 750W model instead.

The i5 4690K supports Ram up to 2666+ MHz. I know it says 1600MHz on Intels website, but you can run faster Ram than that.
