Nothing much, web browsning, thats it.

But the old imac is really slow now

then get her the first one. its cheaper and will do just as well, just maybe she shall need a new one one windows iteration earlier

I agree. Core i3's are pretty great. Especially for home users.

I wish i had a i3 to replace my 3600+.......

Such faith they have... and you might want to test that assertion. Spec for spec they work out the same, but you get to not include features that you might not need -- optical drive, OS, etc.

 

Dunno about you but if I were building a purely non-gaming PC Windows is the first thing I'd lose.

Yeah OS kinda killed the price.

I could build a hackintosh, they are used to mac.

 

They dont have faith because i have had to replace a few of my parts in my computer.

but its not becuase i built it.

Motherboard replaced because we thought it was broken but it wasnt

PSU replaced because i bought a bad 500 watt 20$ one

GPU replaced due to artifacting
