Because you are inexperienced, go with the i3 + B85. It is your best option for longevity and future upgrades.

You don't have to buy a locked processor. Re-read what I said.

The only thing that I think is really good about consoles, is that you can't really have a bunch of friends over and play a split-screen game on a computer... (Running four instances of the game and dividing the monitor into four quadrants doesn't count...)
