Ubisoft upcoming titles missing from every country's Steam store(Update2:They are back on Steam)

For me, all the games are back on steam again.

 

haha, showing up for me again also... now I'm wondering if this was an ubisoft thing or a steam thing...  cause when I clicked browse games in the uplay browser, it opened up steam.  makes me think it was some sort of steam issue

I think they did this to test the waters. They will do it eventually, and fail miserably.

all of the AC games I bought on steam required uplay...  except maybe the first one, don't remember that far back.

Haven't recent ubisoft games required uplay anyway?

Kinda. You buy them normally on steam but when you go to launch the game it takes you to the Uplay client. The thing is though the games are usually far cheaper on steam than Uplay plus they always end up in steam sales that you wouldn't get with Uplay.

I usually buy it off amazon or off humble bundle store, most of them have been uplay codes(AC4 and splinter cell)
