Watercooled Mini ITX Case?

Go to solution Solved by STRMfrmXMN,

Have enough people recommended the BitFenix Prodigy? You can fit a 240MM Rad at the front for sure https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_lNTEO4-yHs

Hey Guys,

This is my first post in the forum. I am looking for advice on the best water-cooling supported mini ITX case. I did some research and found the following two as worthy contenders.

  • Compact Splash: Only while color is available, considering the fact that this is the only case that I available I was planning to get this one.
  • NCASE M1: Out of stock :(

Any other suggestions would be welcome. I am looking for a case with the following

  • Support for a 240mm radiator
  • Should be able to accommodate a gtx980
  • Clear side panel is a plus not can live without it.

Thanks in advance

The Bitfenix Prodigyis, it's just big and some version don't have a window but you can buy modded side panels that look better than the OEM window or the 250D but you have to use a thin 240mm rad and a thicker 140mm can be put in the front, you'd want to use one of SilverStone's Strider Gold S series which are 80+ Gold PSUs and only 140mm long so you have room for the pump/res if you don't use a 5.25 bay one (I would use one, they junk).

Love that case and will use it, if I ever build a portable rig for LAN events, etc. Although the price hurts... :(

Thanks Guys

From the current selection I really like to compact splash, I have sent an email asking if they plan to bring back the black color, right now only white is available.

I have also signed up for email updates from NCASE in case that have these back in stock :-)

Another +1 for the NCASE. One of the nicest cases (and the best ITX case) I've ever used, FWIW.

FYI Necere & W360 (the guys who designed/sell it) have said that they went ahead and started a 3rd production run already. Hopefully the cases will be available for sale before xmas. If you signed up for the newsletter you should be kept in the loop.

You can keep tabs on the project here: http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1717132 (obviously the current stuff is at the end, no need to read all 700+ pages)...
