Guys i was planing to buy i7 4790K but i am confused as many user are complaining about overheating..
what should i do...

Just don't use the POS stock cooler and you will be alright. Hyper 212+, Noctua's and all in one water coolers like the h100i.

Cooler Master Seidon 240M if you live in the US.

 

Stay away from the H100i.  Bad mounting problem, pump noise problem, and software problem.

1) dont run prime 95

2) dont use the stock cooler

3) buy some high quality thermal paste like MX-4 or NH-T1

4) then your CPU will not overheat.
