Does anyone know what possible reason LinusTechTips Media Group has decided to go with such a yellow tinge to their videos? Its not a huge problem, but aaaaany time that Linus speaks with his hands or gestures with his hands (I.E. All the time)...they look...so...piss-color yellow.

 

Is it just me? Should I hyper-saturate green on my monitor to compensate or?

The problem is not your monitor or the video, Linus is doing Cheetos

either your monitor problem wiht firmware and colour correction or more likley youtube

I think you need to colour calibrate your monitor and GPU+OS settings.

Doubt its the monitor in that its the same in all of my monitors (there's four), although it could totally be my GPU. I'll watch a video on my ipad and see if its the same. ;o

Hell of a good question there Lolicon_Pasta and no, just LinusTechTips...but not all their videos. Seems to be exclusive to videos they do with a static camera. For example, super fun video with the Marshmallow ambush has no yellow hue in it. Maybe they have some settings in place to that effect? Similar to how movies are often put through a blue filter to make everything more blue.
