DXRacer Chair upgrade or a AOC G2460PQU 144Hz Monitor

MADCATZ

Hey Guys

So I am deciding between getting a new chair or a new monitor instead, but I don't know which one would be better to get. I have started playing a huge amount of Counter-Strike Global Offensive and 144Hz monitor would make this a better experience, on the other hand the chair I have at the moment is not a very good one. And after sitting in it for 5+ hours a day, it can get very uncomfortable. I have heard a lot of good things about DXRacer gaming chairs, so I am looking at getting one of them.

My vote goes for the monitor. Because really, you shouldn't be spending that kind of time in front of a monitor anyway.

But can you actually get 144Hz with your GPUs? That is the question.

Got my DXRacer the other week. best chair I have ever had. So I would recommend that over the monitor. We are in a weird time for monitors anyway with the whole 1440P vs 4K and freesync vs gsync going on. The chair is the safer better.

I'd prioritize health over fancy stuff like 144Hz. If it gets really uncomfortable then you can live with 60Hz like most people for a while longer.

Uuh, I think going for the monitor is the obvious choice here, ESPECIALLY since you are playing cs go. You're experience will be 10 times better. As long as you don't sit like a freaking idiot then you shouldn't have to worry about your health. In case anyone is having issues with their back I doubt buying a $200+ chair would fix anything. I don't mean to be too oppressive but please don't go for the DX chair, your eyes will enjoy the 144 hz much more than your butt will enjoy that fancy chair.

It's kind of hard as I can only make a judgement on 144Hz from what people have told me, or from what I have read. I saw in your Sig you have a 144Hz monitor, is it really that much better from your experience ?

Go for the chair! If you are really sitting so long times in this chair you should really go for it. I've got the Maxnomic-chair from Needforseat.com similar to the one Linus reviewed, and it's soooooooo comfortable to sit in in long times. Especially your upper back get's way better support from the chair and you will sit in a way more comfortable position then in the 50$ shitty one.

I got my Maxnomic one 3 month ago and still love this thing!!!

But you need to check for the right one for your size. Get the proper one for your size and weight and it will fit perfectly!

A 60hz monitor won't hurt your eyes, but a shitty 50$ chair will!

If you're spending that many hours in the chair, I'd go as many others for the chair. Comfortable chairs are underestimated.

I own a dxracer chair and must say it's definitely worth the buy.  Such a comfortable chair, I tend to play a few hours of csgo at a time and love how comfortable it is to sit in my chair.  Also the recline is very nice as well.  All in all I would go with the chair over the monitor.
