Something I've wanted to do for a while.

I kinda wanna make a game, I have some ideas of what it will look like, but I cant even make a batch file without help.

 

It takes place in a sort of militaristic world, and you're this guy limping through the forest, bleeding out, and your only objective for the opening scene is a marker far off in the distance, you're supposed to get back to base, and you can hear a rustling every now and again, and you can see a dark figure rushing about through the trees. You pass out & fall over far before you even reach 2km within the base.

 

You wake up to this, well, girl sitting on your lap, well, more laying, with her chin in her hands, and propped up to look at you. An open medpack that looks like it's from 1960 is strewn out maybe 5 feet away. You realize, this girl saved your life.

 

Maybe she can speak, you think, so you ask her if she has a name.

She sits up, and her red hair brushes back to reveal a pair of fox ears (yes, it's that kind of game) and she cockes her head. you ask again, and she thinks for a moment, and opens her mouth and says. "I... think... so...." you can see her struggle for correct words.

 

So, there's the main two characters introduced to the story, you, a soldier, abandoned by his platoon. your sidekick is a naive, yet ingenious girl, who looks to be about 20, and is, of all things a kitsune (Avert your Eyes, @, we all know how much you'll drool over this game).

 

The setting for the game is a giant sakura forrest, with military personel & bases scattered throught.

 

The goal is to escape the forrest with the girl, as you find out that the military is hunting her, (I think a metaphor for racism or something) and you realize, these were your men, the same ones you fought for. you were on the wrong side the whole time, and you have to save the girl.

 

The game is a third person over the shoulder shooter, cell shaded, and open world, yet linear.

 

Anyway, this was something I thought up last night when I was too hot to sleep, I've wanted to make a game like this for a while, but the story came to me last night, or at least what I've posted of it.

Hey... I'm not that bad.

 

I had a thread a lot like this a while back actually, just a different concept. We stopped planning it cause when FireFall dropped, it was basically the game I wanted to make.

Sounds a bit like farcry 1 setting, only without the mutated monkeys and with that girl, and I liked Far Cry 1 a lot.

Well that could be a book...I have made a lot of games (3 MMO's and 2 FPS's). Never at the level I would assume you would want this. a 2.5D MMO with a never ending scrolling map took me 3 years and I never completed this would be crazyness without a team...

Yes, but this is pretty accurate too, It was hot enough to warrent me locking the door & stripping down, xD.

 

All I had on was my Captain America panties xD.

I just know the dude has black hair, is either white or asian, and a medium-lean build.

 

The girl is white and has thigh length red hair, with a white pair of fox ears & a white tail.

I'm a 16 year old tech enthusiast (who isn't here?) who also would like to make a game. I have limited resources and not a lot of knowledge but I am learning JavaScript, html and css and I'm also gonna learn c# and other versions of c. I have some experience in modeling and want to learn animation as well.

The year is 20XX. Everyone plays Fox at TAS levels of perfection. Because of this, the winner of a match depends solely on port priority. The RPS metagame has evolved to ridiculous levels due to it being the only remaining factor to decide matches.

Only Abate, Axe, and Wobbles can save us.
