Question's in the title. Note that I'm not a competitive multiplayer fps type of guy. I like high quality visuals at 60fps.

Should be fine.. though im not a big VA fan , for the price it will be perfectly fine

I would look for IPS or PLS if possible if not going for 144hz

If you can afford £40 more for 144hz

Seems good to me. I game (casual PC and casual competitive PS3) on a panel very similar to this one.

Maybe you can watch a review or 2 about it's color, as my BENQ doesn't have the BEST colors (a little too much on the orange side..)

Would a 144hz monitor be worth if I can't reach 144hz, I would rather play at 60fps with higher quality settings than scaling back for 144fps

What is your spec?, its possible some games you play will hit 144hz

If NOT then I would go for IPS/PLS over VA if you can... VA is fine but is not that great for gaming from experiance and according to TFT Central (check their reviews)

Gtx 970, i7 4790, 8gb ram...etc. I'm sure some older games will hit 144hz but more modern releases, probably not
