Pokemon White vs Platuim

I've been saving up to buy a new game and I decided I wanted to buy a pokemon game. But I need help with my choice should I get Pokemon black/white or Platuim. By the way I only have a ds lite and the the last pokemon game I played was emerald. Please help :) also tell me why.

If the last game you played was Emerald just get Platinum so you aren't so confused about the Pokemon. Either are good games though.

My favorite pokemon game of all time is platinum. I just keep coming back to it from all of the other games. I love the story and the characters and the gameplay is also great. White is a great game too, but it just isn't as good of a game as platinum in my opinion.

I played diamond much more than black. For some reason black/white didn't grab my my attention as well as diamond did

you should go with plaitinum becasue if you still have emerald you will be able to tranfer the pokemon from emerald into platinum, The menus in platinum are also much more similer to gen 3 than the ones in gen 5 so there will be less of an issue there. You also cant forget the glorious cloneing glitch that existed in emerald that can allow you to get as many master balls in platinum as you want
