need help in picking parts

huracan

do you think fx6000 series going to meet my gaming and general media requirements >

the 6300 is one of the best budget cpus, and yes I think it will... but I'm not sure that it wont throttle gtx 970... it pretty might, mmm unless overclocked... I suppose, but thats another pain, with buying a cooler and a stable mobo...

I personaly wouldnt par 6300 with anything better than a gtx 760...

you might double check, but I think the 970 in your build and in mine.. the only difference is yours is  factory overclocked, meaning you can buy a cheaper one, the one in my build and maanualy OC it to the same spec... you pay less, but use your own time to overclock...

here, even less now http://pcpartpicker.com/p/T

so lets leave fx6000 aside do you think i should switch to intel over amd fx8000? because i dont really give a big crap about cpu as all i do is gaming! and did you look at my build i posted above? please let me know what do you think about it? and also should i jump to a r9 series gpu instead of nvidia ?

yes I saw it, I already posted...

well thats the thing, although the main part of running gams is GPU, if you have a strong gpu, you need a stronger cpu for that, if you want a 970, especialy, if you gonna overclock it (because overclocked 970 can perform as good as 780ti), then you need a good cpu, either amd eight core, or an i5 atleast...

why I want you to go with i5 is because most games right now use 4 cores, meaning if you use and eight core in some games, only 4 cores will be used properly... and intel has much stronger cores and performance per core than amd... what that means is that you will get higher average frame rates with intel than amd...

sadly there is no gtx 960, I would recommend you that... the 970 though is a very good deal card right now. Expect to play any game, maxed out, smoothly.

you can go with amd cards too... I would like for you to get the 970 though... its brand new, the architecture is new, it runs quiet, it runs very cool and it eats less power, its an amazing card (the processor inside that is)
