Sounds like you were sold one with bad fans :P

The strange thing was it wasnt the fans making the noise, it was the CPU waterblock. But changing the fans made it go away, so there seems to be an issue with the stock fans and the fan controller inside the block. It wasnt the pump either...

Yeah. But it works perfectly fine with every other fan other than stock, so it must be the fans...
