I have "sold" 10 items in the past week and 4 of the buyers have payed... 6 have yet to pay 3-5 days later.. I tell them that they have 48 hours to make a payment etc etc then I have to cancel the transaction and the buyer has to respond to it to cancel it or I have to wait 7-14 days (I'm not sure I've had it be 7 days al the way to 14 days) until I can manually cancel it Or call ebay and have them tell me I need to wait and sometimes IF I get a customer service rep that is nice they will manually cancel it on their end...

My main complaint is that a buyer should be punished somehow for not paying for an item in the amount of time that the seller says.. I just don't think it is right for them to get off scott free for buying something and not paying...

You've got to also remember that the buyer can reverse change. There needs to be an equal 50/50 system setup. The way it's set up at the moment is not quite fair IMO.

Everyone talks about buyer protection, what about seller protection. I have sold things using paypal, and unless you having an paypal seller account then you can't use the money you receive for 21 days!
