I can't see it going any cheaper than 5 dollars, I would just buy it now. Besides it's such a great game :D

look at it another way. 

right now you have that 5 bucks handy and can use it freely. @ the steam sale you will have 300 choices to make and balance your need/wants between them. for me once my shopping cart gets past a certain point I have to put the brakes on and trim things from my cart. and then you will have to make that agonizing choice between batman vs xcom vs skyrim.
