Ordering my first build in the next hour, need help

MrLegendQC
Go to solution Solved by MrLegendQC,

I gave up ...

It was 1500 $ after eco-taxes and everything.....

Just looked at it on Newegg, majority of reviews are positive.

I looked at real reviews where it is tested and it is said to be garbage.  The B2 psus are what you want.

Only the newer EVGA PSU's are great, as they're rebranded SuperFlowers.

If you get a B1 or G1 instead of a B2 or G2, you are getting their significantly worse older PSU's.

You can get an amazing PSU anywhere in the $80-$120 range, once you're getting around $60 (or less) you're not going to get anything too great. Cases are similar with prices and quality.

OP are you for sure going to overclock and will you ever for sure upgrade the pc to SLI video cards in the future?

Look at NCIX and DirectCanada if you want better prices and no shipping costs.

I got all of my parts except for one from those two alone.

550W SeaSonic G gets a 9.6 from him.

XFX 550W is the exact same thing with the benefit of being fully modular, and is only $30 more.

The difference in price is quite the thing though, and I'm aware that XFX are Seasonic OEMs. A positive review is a positive review. And nothing in that review alluded to "significantly worse" compared to the B2 models.

For the record I didn't remember seeing that the OP wasn't going to SLI at first so I recommended psus that had some wiggle room.

OP for the people that tried to help out it would be nice to see what you decided on for your final build and thanking people for the help might be something to do too.

Also you seemed rushed in your decision to get the build done with and you probably ended up paying way too much and you may not get what you wanted from your pc purchase in doing that.

You gave up and just bought whatever or gave up and left it for another day?  Not clear on what you did here.
