Of course the police has contacted ... just wanted some advice wether i can or the police somehow track the the laptops down but you are obviously making fun of me so thanks a lot

It's possible, but unlikely you'll find them. Just let the police do what they can. But don't keep your hopes up. I'm sorry for your loss.

Sometimes they can. They hopefully have a good Theft Detectives, they will know what types of programs may be running on your computers to see if it pops up/logs in/etc.

You REALLY should change all your passwords asap though. Email, Social media, Banking.

  1. realize that house has been robbed
  2. realize all valuable possessions gone, including identification and possibly bank cards and other personal info
  3. realize any personal info on computers is now also comprimised
  4. do not call police
  5. do not cancel bank cards
  6. do not change passwords, lock accounts
  7. post on internet forum
  8. await replies

all thats left now is for this guy to ruin your life even harder by using your personal info, possibly even making purchases with any bank cards you might have (not sure of your age)

call the police, or at the very least, get off the internet

@gasoline

You will only be able to track or locate the laptops if you have some sort of tracking software installed on your laptops, if you don't then it will be almost impossible to do so. Sorry to hear about this.

I think it's pretty obvious who you should be calling...

Good luck.

bat_signal.jpg

Seriously though, what do you want people to do? "I'm from the middle of nowhere in Slovakia. I think I'll post on a Can/USA forum and ask if anybody knows who stole my stuff, even though it's a long shot I'll ever meet anybody from my own country, let alone my own town on the Interwebz"

Seriously, call Slovakian Batman. You can often find him hanging out in one of your country's many curative springs. At night he can usually be found drinking it up at a vinárne. Best of luck tracking him down.

(Seriously though from a guy who's had his house broken into 4 times in the last 20 years, I feel your pain...)

Intel Inside. Overweight guy in his 30's outside.
