Any legal free music sites that don't suck?

Guest

I realized I formatted my old laptop which had some music on it from a free music download thing my library hosts. Now I'm waiting to retrieve a small portion of that I copied to my phone, as its currently dead. I'm setting up foobar2k and am wondering if anyone knows any free music sites that don't suck

well, there are artists in the music industry who give out their tracks for free and make money by people buying souvenirs

I don't think there are free, legal downloads to music if you're looking to fill up Foobar2k. There sites where music is created and shared for free, like Soundcloud or Newgrounds. Youtube has many tracks you can listen to. You can also hog some albums on Bandcamp for free. There are music streaming services like Spotify. If you like listening to online-radio, Iheartradio is OK.

Well I've been using one through library called "freegal" although you can only download 5 songs every week although their library is a bit limited

The only legal free sites worthy of use is Spotify, and Youtube. Other than that, you either gotta buy the music or Jack Sparrow it. Your choice at the end of the day.

Shot through the heart and you're to blame, 30fps and i'll pirate your game - Bon Jovi

Take me down to the console city where the games are blurry and the frames are thirty - Guns N' Roses

Arguing with religious people is like explaining to your mother that online games can't be paused...

Spotify lets you stream almost any song for free. If you pay for Premium (which is $10 a month, $5 if you are student) you can play songs offline. It works on mobile too. Best $5 a month I will ever spend tbh.

I believe, from a legal standpoint, you can "Jack Sparrow" the music you owned previously without any whiplash.

If not, then I'm uninformed.

How did you get your music previously?
