how are the logitech g35s for 80 bucks

They rate well everywhere and at $80 that seems to be an extremely good price.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

Meh they are OK

 

I have a set I bought years ago, its well built and relatively comfortable, the audio is OK, but pretty quiet, the surround sound is pretty decent and the mic is ok

 

but nothing exceptional, never use them anymore and I wouldn't buy them again (though most headsets at $80 are not great)
