What to do in the DC area?

Dudenstein

Hello folks! Primarily those that live in the Washigton DC area. I know there at least a couple of you guys here, or at least I hope there are. I will be going to the DC area in early November and was wondering if thwere's any interesting things that I should check out while I'm there.

I already have the regular museums, monuments, and major things that I'll be seeing; my sister and I have a couple of friends that go to school there, but they aren't the general demographic that I share with many of you folks here.

So put it simply, are there any good geekery spots or little local favorites there that an out of towner such as myself should experience?

You should go visit the National Archives... AND STEAL THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE

Again that naturally falls within the general monuments; museums, memorials, and major things of DC. And I refuse to confirm nor deny any plans regarding following the map on the back of the declaration
