calling BS, anyone that can discover this would utterly replace fossil powered cars. from high range, to stupid high powered electric cars. the only reason they are cut down on power is to make them more efficent. but who cares if it takes 5 minutes and cost less then a gallon of gas to use a sports car

I dont think its far fetched at all. Its not the range/capacity thats increased, but the ability to recharge the cell after its been discharged. 

It will still be some time until fossil fuels can be viably replaced, but this definately gets us a big step closer if you can recharge your car enough in 5 minutes vs an hour or two.
