Crossfire, what happens if you dont have enough watts?

Say if I put i have crossfired 290's on a 650w power supply, if it isnt enough watts to power it will it just turn off mid game? or will it kill the parts?

nah the cards wont get enough power resulting in a bottleneck.

It will make the power supply shut down so when you pull around 700W, it will just turn off.

If the power supply is of good quality, it'll shut down.

If it's not, it'll blow, and likely take the system with it.

Wire heat up, psu heat up. If the psu is crappy, it will maybe take fire or blow up maybe damaging other component. If it is good quality it probably shut down
