I didn´t check any availabilities since I´ve bought my X99 but I can tell you that the Asus X99 Deluxe is a fine board. It´s not the cheapest one but offers really a lot of nice features and besides that I run very high OCs and have no issues.

it adds nothing. it takes some stuff like some back usb and a gigabit port. the only thing it adds (that is important to me) is the flush m.2 slot. its actually lower end than the deluxe, so if its priced lower enough, i might consider living with only one gigabit port

I didn´t check any availabilities since I´ve bought my X99 but I can tell you that the Asus X99 Deluxe is a fine board. It´s not the cheapest one but offers really a lot of nice features and besides that I run very high OCs and have no issues.

i know that i want it, but since it looks very similar, but has what i consider more important when it comes to spending 300+ on a board. and that is aesthetics. WTF asus, vertical m.2

Well it seems like its not available yet, they probably just put it up on their website before they got distributed.

Flush M2 slot? Well on the X99-A it's horizontal. Why would it be "lower-end"? I checked the VRM a while ago, caps/chokes are pretty much the same (quality of them aren't as critical as the following I'm mentioning), uses 8 IR3555's 60A mosfets version which was never seen on any board before - they're rated to do 40Amps at 90° with great efficiency though, same PWM controller 8 phases which is probably a CHiL8328.

They just removed the unneccesary features like addon card, that IO shield cover, that's all I can remember what the deluxe had to offer. Just the key features/specs/PCB quality are the same. I'm thinking either of the X99-A or the X99-E WS, nothing between those two and the only reason I'd consider the X99-E ws is for its looks. Thing i don't like about the Deluxe is the white cover being plastic, white plastic turns yellow later >.>

for me, low end with boards this expensive means that while they may perform the same, im not using them for other reasons. the A is FUGLY! even if it was better HW wise than the pro, id go pro/deluxe.

The deluxe has more PCIe slots, as well as better IO and more features.

 

And white plastic only turns yellow if its the crappy dye that NZXT used in their plastic cases.
