only bluetooth and wifi, i didnt check the rest of the specs further.

But if im right this is the main diffrence.

Its arround €60,- more, so if you realy need bluetooth and wifi, then it could be a good buy.

There is nothing wrong with the pro offcourse.

But there is not much of a diffrence with the normal A technically atleast.

as i said, at that pricepoint, every board has all the features i NEED. but the A is FUGLY

 

i need 2xNIC for stable operation, but i will make do with wireless for internet use. it cant be that bad now haa)

x99 pro isnt out yet. WS is the only x99 asus board that I'm aware of that has a flat m.2 port, which is part of the reason I'm buying one

Hmm I forgot about the pro, and reading asus' website, it fits the bill for me for my build..I did like the -a but I kinda want wifi, since where my computer is to my modem, really comcast thanks for the crappy setup..and can easily plastidip the white to blue to fit build..yup when I get my bonus here  in a month or so, I think I will get this.

For future reference, Asus has a bad habit of putting stuff on their website that isn't actually available. They've had the page for the Xonar Essence STX II 7.1 on their site for almost a year and its not actually for sale anywhere. Someone on Amazon is supposedly selling them, but for the $400 they are asking and the fact that they aren't available anywhere else, I doubt its legit.
