The TDP....

I don't care about TDP on an enthusiast CPU, I care that bulldozer is a pile of crap. If they had a good, competitive architecture, I would absolutely love a balls to the wall 220w tdp version of it.

I've used P4s and know a little about them. Intel was REALLY stupid back then......

Pentium D extreme edition comes to mind. The 8800 Ultra was kinda stupid back in the day, and the 3000 series from AMD wasn't really competitive. Other than that, I'm not old enough to remember stuff from "the good old days".

definately the Pentium Extreme Edition. 1k$ for something that got beat by amds mainstream lineup....

imo AMD bulldozer FX series, waaaaay to over hyped with 8 core specs beast & got beat by a 4 core i5 with no hyperthreads.. :/

Dude! I'm on a single core sempron :D & i quite like it for day day regular stuff(not an intel fanboy or AMD's for the fact), game play freezes every 10 -20 seconds or so for CPU physx or comp tasks, but it kinda grows on you

Also, the 7850K. Yeah, sure, AMD. "Flagship". A true flagship would have R9 graphics inside.

 

It was the flagship of the Kaveri line, and it was pretty good I am not gonna lie. If you get it from Micro Center for 100 bucks and OC it with a decent cooler its a great APU chip.
