How to spell 'NVIDIA' ?

I try to mix it up, just to mess with people's OCD. I usually spell AMD in full caps because its an abbreviation for Advanced Micro Devices, but I just can't be arsed to hold down shift key for that long for nvidia. and I'm not going to hit caplock to type NVIDIA, BECAUSE THEN I WILL FORGET AND TYPE IN ALL CAPS until I realize it and have to rewrite my sentence.

 

Also, it should be pointed out that technically nVIDIA makes the most sense, because the lower case "n" stands for "nano" in metric prefixes. ergo, if you really want to get technical, nVIDIA is the proper spelling, and I think even their marketing guys are unaware of this at times, or don't really care. Vidia is a name that means wisdom, knowledge, learning.

 

so, nVIDIA is wisdom, knowledge and learning on a nanometer level. cool huh  :)

Envy dia. The company name is a word play of Envy and Vision in Latin. Also, in Latin literature, green is associated with envy. Hence why the company color is green.

Or something like that, I am going from memory. I was told that back in GeForce FX days, so I might be off a bit.
