Counter Strike Vs Cod

Jack.EXE

I need to settle an argument. CS VS COD?

I say CS is better, he says Cod is better.

CoD USED (Up until MW2) to be good. Now CS simply dominates CoD in any way possible

Last thing I remember that I played cs 1.6 many years ago when I used to own a pentium 4 with literally 1gb ram, 64mb v ram and hardly 40gb back in 2011.

Here's the thing, CS is ONLY multiplayer where as CoD is Single, Co-op, and Multiplayer. I like CS for multiplayer and CoD 2 Big Red One for single player.

Big Red one is the only cod I'd consider playing for single player (I've got a soft spot for BL1 zombies, but that's it)

CS:S & CS:GO has much more re playability for me.

You can't compare the two...

I love CoD:BRO so much. I hope that one day 3arc can go back and make a proper WW2 game that looks fan-fucking-tastic.

CS 1.6 = best for LAN parties

CSS = most fun

Only CoD i like is World At War. I love my bolt action rifles. (Kar98K & Nugget)

I generally dislike Cowadoody due to the player community, and how ridiculously easy it is to do well in those games.

Shot through the heart and you're to blame, 30fps and i'll pirate your game - Bon Jovi

Take me down to the console city where the games are blurry and the frames are thirty - Guns N' Roses

Arguing with religious people is like explaining to your mother that online games can't be paused...

I'll call him codfish for this.

Codfish: "You dont like CoD only 'cause you're bad at it."

Me: "Ahem, 16:1 KD" (I generally go 32:2)

Codfish: "That's not possible, pros don't get that high."

Me: "Yeah, I'm not a Pro CoD player though. I play CS"

Codfish: *refuses to accept it and calls out CS's graphics*

Anyone feel this pain?

The CS:GO online community is much more tolerable than the COD community.  I also like CS because there is no 360 no-scopes or people perma-sprinting with double shottys or dolphin diving while shooting, plus in COD there is no such thing as recoil.

CS is more competitive and COD is more casual. They are two different types of games.

prefer earlier COD's earlier than MW2 escpecially on PC. Cod2, cod4, cod waw. CS is good all around. Just a matter of preference. Cod4 has a bunch of mods, I love the freezetag servers on there. I switch from CSGO to CSS and vice versa from time to time.

They're two totally different types of games in practice. They share being shooters in a modern military setting, but that is about it.

Ignoring price and business practices, I definitely prefer CS. That doesn't mean I dislike CoD and I put in a huge amount of time into the original Modern Warfare. CS is more tactical, much more calculated, and requires a hell of a lot more patience and practice. CoD plays more like a slow arena shooter than anything. It's relatively fast paced and everything just goes goes goes once the match starts. It's great for a short 15 minutes while waiting for your favorite television show to start. A proper CS match takes about 45-90 minutes and so it really isn't great for people who don't have a lot of sit down time either.

CS:S/GO but that's just because there's more things to do on those games compared to Call of Duty. I only played MW, WAW and Black Ops on the PS3 because that's what my friends played.
