Also, mostly unrelated, but is there any possible way to record my PS3 gameplay with my PC without the use of a capture card?

It would do nothing, and no, there isn't unless you have a specific Z97 AsRock motherboard.

As it seems, the Z87 Pro4 has part of the feature you need. It's HDMI In. Though you will need an HDCP Stripper because Sony.

Oh shit, you're right. I didn't notice that until now lol, it even has a sticker right above the port specifying it's HDMI In. Thanks for the info.
