Posted September 30, 2014 Tell her to get a 760K or 860K. They are cheaper because they don't have the onboard video. Edit: Not sure if you mean she has 2 different PC's. If so then the A10-6790K Spoiler Prometheus (Main Rig) CPU-Z Verification Laptop: Spoiler Intel Core i3-5005U, 8GB RAM, Crucial MX 100 128GB, Touch-Screen, Intel 7260 WiFi/Bluetooth card. Posted September 30, 2014 @Daniel91 then go for a 760K or 860K depending on what's available there. They'll be cheaper, almost have the price for the same CPU performance. Posted September 30, 2014 Obviously the A10-6790K is the best out of them all CPU side, which is the only important thing since she wont be using the iGPU. If the A10 is too expensive, the next follow up would be the A8-6600K. If there is a large price difference between the two, the A8-6600K would be the best APU for the price. Can you provide pricing? The A10-6790K is the best in terms of CPU power, but the extra 100 MHz doesn't justify the extra $28.
