OK, I bought a gaming pc from Sedatech via amazon in january, but almost since the beginning I'm experiencing problems with it

the link (if anyone's interested) is:

http://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B005FWVQB0/ref=s9_simh_gw_p147_d2_i1?pf_rd_m=A1X6FK5RDHNB96&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=0SXYT278YR416M3HW9Y1&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=455673027&pf_rd_i=405320

yes it is in french, but the spec are the same

the specs are:

AMD FX-6100 6x3.3Ghz CPU

Geforce GTX660 2048Mo GPU, from PALIT

8gb RAM

1000 gb hard drive

BeQuiet 450W 80+ Silver power supply

Asrock 960GM/U3S3 FX mother board

I thought this should be a decent mid-end gaming rig, but it's overheating almost instantly when playing games:

the idle temperature is about 32-40°C (90°F-104°F), but when I launch a game it rises to 75-85 °C (170°F-185°F) the five first minutes of playing...

The case also gets very hot and the whole things begins trembling when playing games like watch dogs or far cry 3 in medium... even when I play games like Titan quest (which is already 8 years old) it gets to 75°C in the first minutes ...

maybe this is normal, but when I saw that one of my friends bought a sedatech pc also (yet cheaper and a bit less powerful), I was stunned that he played bf4 in ultra with almost no sound coming from the pc itself...

any help would be greatly appreciated ....

are you sure, because when i play bf4 my whole rig is heating up to 90°C and shaking...

AMD's are said to get hot. I could be wrong, but if not, get a CM cooler hyper 212 CPU cooler, or similar maybe that will help.

First things first, build your PC next time.

Second, that PSU is underpowered, nearly dangerously so.

Third, 700€ and no aftermarket cooler?

Fourth, how fast is the hard drive?

Fifth, buy an SSD

so you say if I bought a PSU with more capacity, it could solve some problems ??

and the hard drives speed is 7200tpm

If you're running an AMD on stock cooling then you have to make sure that you have good airflow in your case. The rattling of the case, and the heat, sounds like either dodgy fans, or just cheap fans that are struggling.

Get an aftermarket cooler like the 212, or a Noctua if your budget can stretch to one.  Don't bother with water cooling on a 6100, it's not needed.

Try to change your fan set-up to see if you can improve your air flow. If not, you might want to invest in better case fans or a case with better flow (not sure on your case, never used one).

I'd also recommend taking the thing to bits and rebuilding it, to make sure the builder hasn't messed anything up.

thanks for the info, and I think i'll be able to buy noctua products :)

but the only thing I don't know is which case would be good for airflow, at a reasonable price, but also one which i would be sure of that it is compatible with all my components
