help please my pc became extremely slow after reinstalling cpu

does my stock cooler broken ? cause when i open case it spin like normal but the temperature of my cpu is 69 Celcius

does something wrong ?

specs :

i5 2320 3.0 Ghz

ASUS PH61-M LX Plus

480watt psu from cases

GTX 750Ti

8GB DDR3 Crucial Ballistic Sport 1333 Mhz

If it's 69C during idle then your cooler is not seated properly. Reapply paste properly and reseat the cooler. Make sure that it's making good contact.

 

As for sudden slowness I cannot really think of anything besides a bad seat

If it's 69C during idle then your cooler is not seated properly. Reapply paste properly and reseat the cooler. Make sure that it's making good contact.

How do you apply your cooling? Make sure you don't use too much or too little paste, and that the cooler is firmly on there. If it still gets really hot, I'd suspect a dying CPU.

 

EDIT: Also, how's your CPU usage in Task Manager? Maybe it's not idling at all, but something in the background is hogging resources.

Also make sure you arent trying to spread the thermal paste by hand. just a small pea size ball in the middle of the CPU, the heatsink will spread the thermal past as you tighten it down. And the usual answer for a slow unresponsive system is either lots of bloatware, or malware. You may want to reinstall windows.
