Corsair h55 Screw holes.

SO, I'm soon going to be adding a fine little addition to my computer household with a h55 on my graphics card (Soon to be a 980). Now, how I have jerry rigged a spare fan onto the side of a HDD cage to blow air on my 660 ti due to OC temp's, is strange. I took normal tip ties to it to make sure its secure, and I'm wondering if I can mount this cooler from a bare side, through the cooler onto the fan. If not recommend me to the cheapest one that can and that is a acteck styled one.

So you mean mount the radiator to the case and not to a fan? 

 

 

So it goes      case wall -> radiator -> fan              INSTEAD OF            case wall -> fan -> radiator                   ?
