For the last time a 980Ti will make no sense whatsoever because the 980 is already fully unlocked...

Don't trust tweaktown also I doubt this is gonna happen xD if it does it'll be a Titan card or next gen like 1080  (notice all the parallels between the 9 and 6 hundred series this could be just another one) anyway that GPU chip as they say ~551mm^2 is massive thats GK110 Sized xD and Nvidia has ceased production of all non titan GK110s because they lose money producing such a large chip otherwise

Doubt there will be a 980ti because the 980 is already unlocked.

The Article refers to a new GPU chip GM200 not more cores in a GM204

Then something that according to name should outperform the 980 but will have less cores and therefore be outperformed by a "lesser name". That makes even less sense

If its a new chip it would make no sense calling it the 980ti then.

Wtf are you talking about? It's a 204 chip, not the full fledged 210 one.

Agreed either Nvidia went full retard or the chip is gonna be for 950 and 960...or is fake

Agreed. As I said probably would be 1080 or Titan if true...
