GTX 970 any day of the week.

 

It near-destroys the R9 280X in terms of performance, and can even 1-up an R9 290X in some situations.

Gigabyte 980 ;), otherwise the 970.

970. It has lower power consumption, produces less heat, it's actually faster, I heard it overclocks very nicely.
