Best Mid-High End Z97 Gaming Motherboards

q

That's not necessarily true, overclocking performance is quite irrelevant for AIO's and Air coolers (even high end ones) but dry ice, LN2, custom loops are a different story.  You could most likely hit a low end board's overclocking limit on a custom loop potentially with low enough temps and high enough voltages.

But for the rest of the 99% of the overclocking community it probably won't make a big difference.

Also, Im going to need wireless. Is it worth getting a Motherboard with wireless, or one without, and getting a wireless adapter?

agree with this. I put ASUS at the top of my MOBO searches. My current build is running an Asus Maximus VII Hero. 0 issues, excellent performance.

As for the SLI comment about heat. My top card stays at 65 and my bottom card reaches about 75-80 during full runs. Running a reference cooler on top and a blower on bottom is your best option. Or doing dual blower style

ASRock Z97-M OC Formula is a hella nice board for the money if you want to go M-ATX.
