Technology things your school does right

-Slowly getting atleast i5's to everyone doing serious work because doing even very light cad work on some dual-core AMD with 2 gb ram just isn't good.

-Wifi for everyone with repeaters every 10m in every hallway.

-Cat 6 to the pc's probaply some cat6a to the rooms but they could be running some other type as they were replacing every lan cable in the roof across they entire school.

- 50+ cnc and non cnc mills and lathes.

- projectors in almost every room with a little netbook for PowerPoint.

-pretty epic school platform online which has all our tests, results, attendancy and so on.

- 3 servers in school, I think a web server a storage server( they have lots of programs who may or may not have been cracked. And there is a windows 7 enterprise iso there too.) and some other probaply the backup server in another building.

- A enterprise type windows setup where you have to log in and all your stuff on the storage server is available on every pc across school.

-Wifi isn't too fast but it's throttled to around 10 mbps up and down I thinm and there's a pretty loose filter in place. I might try to test the lan speeds sometime.

Free iPads for students (not really, the contract is pretty restrictive)

Adding an extra 2GB SODIMM to all the iMacs (4GB RAM, at last)

Keeping the software up to date.

Well at least thw have free wifi and the computers run decent, they also have cloud storage.

The pcs in out lab suck but the ones in the phone lab are decent
