LAPD confronts Call of Duty 'Ghost' statue in tense standoff

Okay, so, this is probably the wrong place, and I'm sure that somebody else will have noticed this elsewhere, but these things cannot be helped sometimes, I am too busy giggling..

 

On thursday night, a 'panic' alarm was triggered at the Robotoki offices, with armed police responding to what they initially believed was a masked gunman. A tense showdown ensued between the armed members of the LAPD, and the life-sized statue of CoD:MW2's Simon "Ghost" Riley.

On a day where the sad news is released that the co-founder of Oculus VR has been tragically killed, reading this news item has made me giggle my socks off.

LOL. They were probably yelling at him to drop his weapon and he is just standing there being still as a statue.

When everyone was leaving for work one employee thought it would be fun to press the in case of armed threat button. When the police arrived they saw a statue from call of duty: ghosts with a gun, proceeded in the building with guns pointed. They reach they employee and found out the statue was a statue. The night ended with a round of video games and chatting late at night.
