School laptop?

Need a laptop for school, going to be basically only taking notes and probably playing some hearthstone, maybe the odd League of Legends game. So i dont need anything super powerful like a Y50.  looking to spend as little as possible but still having a decent comp.

 

prefer brands: Lenovo and Asus.

For around 500 you should get a Lenovo G50 with an A8. I love mine

I'm currently loving my Surface Pro 3. It takes notes really well and serves as a go to machine for everyday things

I appreciate it's probs overbudget, but it's worth it.

 

Oh, and you don't actually need a type cover for it tbh
