Guest
Is it worth it to sell my gtx 770 for $320 USD and get the 970 or should I fork it out for the 980? Thanks

If you can get that much for your card, sure. But it's only $9 more to get a 970 so you might have a hard time.

well you might not get what you want for your 770 but get whats in your budget

Ok yeah I mean I got 3 free games, a free shield, and 100 dollars off (from selling my old card) so selling it for anything would get me cash since my 770 was basically free

I think that I will be able to get 320 since I have the Nvidia packaging; stock Nvidia cooler

yeah thats what I was thinking, my 770 can do 4k somewhat reasonably (30hz tv) but still it can render fire strike in 4k with screen tearing  gashes

I was referring to gaming on those res (Maxed settings with 60+ FPS), if you JUST wanted to watch at 4k, a GTX 750 (Ti) could do it xD

Doesn't really make a huge difference. Even the 6gb 280x vs the 3gb 280x only gains a couple fps.

Eh. I only play at max settings. I wouldn't trust a 970 to pull it off.
