woke up one morning to my pc not turning on, no lights, no fan spin, nothing. psu was kapoot :/

Just loading a game of battlefield and then it suddenly exploded.

In the past i had a crap PSU and it literally blew up and shorted everything that was plugged into it and the case got all sorts of messed up.

Wow thats just bad luck :(

Dice are going over the top with explosions even breaking real things so that its more realistic.

how can a case die lol

 

i had like 8 HDs die

3 GPUs died

2 motherboards died

1 stick of ddr2 died 

Buttons and that sort of thing, or it can kill its selve, you never know when a case might spontaneously combust.

Ya, power turned off, PSU freaked out, BOOM everything is dead.

Last year my PSU died and killed my Mainboard and RAM :(

Well at least now I have a much better PC so it wasn't too bad

 

Was it a decent PSU or a crappy generic one that ain't work the material it's built from?

It was quite a decent one. Cougar A350 80+Bronze maybe I just had bad luck

It's probably more popular in germany. I RMA'd it an got a new one. It's sitting on the shelf of unused hardware right now :D

Yeah It was some shitty generic brand PSU Then I got my TX750 :wub:

 

There you go, Corsair now doesn't that feel better :P

 

Also 18 votes on a failed CPU, never seen so many die

Dont get coolermaster, even their new psus which im using sadly have problems, the psu blue screens when i go out the room. I havent seen it bleu screen yet but if i leave the pc for 5 minutes then it restarts. I will catch it some day.

Yea same here, when I was looking for a 550w for my system I was thinking of modular but then I thought 'do I really need it' lol

 

I went for an OCZ ZS 550w which is excellent but a modular one now but be quite nice, there isn't anywhere in my case where I can put the cables out of the way, there is just a mass of crap at the bottom and it's ugly lol

Catch it bluescreening? download BlueScreenView if you want to read the dump files
