So I was texting this girl I like, and she was saying how she was at a party but her friends aren't true friends. That sorta stuff. Anyways I was being super comforting and stuff. But I feel like im "profiting" off her downside of losing friends in return for her liking me alot more

You were there for her when others where not. That is what girls look for. It sounds you care for her so I don't see it as profiting off of her. You did the right thing as the shoulder to lean on.
