Get the 770, but get a Seasonic power supply, preferably 750w, 80+gold rating. (don't go AMD on the graphics card, get something with a decent level of support instead)

Balance lol.

Looks great to me, you don't have to switch out the psu and same what @Trik'Stari said with psu.

Do what? Don't switch out the psu, but switch out the psu?

Also, OP, seasonic are the best PSU's on the market on average, most PSU's are actually seasonic psu's put into another case

I own this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151087

I would recommend this one because it means you wont need to upgrade if you go SLI down the road http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151102

Wasn't starting an argument, just balancing things out lol.

Don't get EVGA psu, just get seasonic, every review out there says they are better, and most likely the evga psu is a seasonic in another case. Best to just go straight to the source in my opinion

Best place on the internet for psu reviews http://www.jonnyguru.com/

You can switch out the psu for something better but you don't because that power supply will do just fine.

Not if he wants/needs to upgrade down the road, In my mind it's better to spend an extra 20 to 40 dollars now, rather than another hundred or more if he decides to do multi gpu down the road or something. Not that he needs a 1200w psu, but if you have the cash to get something like an 850w, it just makes more sense to go ahead and get that over a cheaper one that's limited

Or the 780 if you want to be able to play any game that requires PhysX like borderlands or mass effect.

@graymatter3,

Nice build.

If you have the budget you might consider getting a better psu. Perhaps something like SeaSonic M12II 620 Bronze, Antec HCG-620M, or even SeaSonic SSR-650RM.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

It really depends on OP whether he wants to spend more for PhysX/better streaming capabilities....

If you arn't afraid of extra heat and if the 290 shows better performance buy that over the 770 if they are the same price

but really if you are only doing gaming i would seriously suggest getting an r9 280x or even an r9 290... AMD cards are really the best bang for the buck as compared to nvidia for gaming purposes.

So spend slightly more to be able to play everything, or don't and get like 5 (maybe) fps more........... seems like an obvious choice to me. I'm not aware of any games that AMD runs that Nvidia cards can't. BTW this is a neutral statement, not attacking AMD or anything, just saying what I know to be true.

Except that there are a few games (2 triple A titles that I know of) than can't run on AMD cards.

So it really is dependent on what OP is playing right? :P

Very true, but again, to me it's worth it to pay a few bucks more and be able to play everything in existence, rather than spending slightly less, getting 5fps more (maybe), worse driver support, and a hotter running card.
