love Noctua fans, but that NF-A15 PWM is a lateral move sans

quieter but no improvement in cooling performance.

Noctua A15

speed: 1200rpm

cfm: 91cfm

noise: 19.2dbA

static: 1.51mm/h2o

4-pin PWM

Stock H110 fan(s)

speed: 1500rpm

cfm: 94cfm

noise: 35dbA

static: 1.64mm/h2o

3-pin

BGears B-Blaster 140

speed: 1800rpm

cfm: 103cfm

noise: 36dbA

static: 3.50mm/h2o

3-pin

from experience of 140 radiator use, these BGears have a lot

of wind noise like your OE H100 fans at 12v, but cooling

performance is a lot better. you can run these at 7v and loose

3°-5° warmer and the wind-noise is deffo better and with a closed

case, prolly not noticeable and again, better cooling.

Silverstone AP141s look a bit better for a blue and black color scheme. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B004GGUAS6/

Rosewill's hyperboreas are a good budget option. Anandtech rated their 120mm versions highly, so I suspect the 140mm models will perform well for the price as well.

Noctuas are the best though, if you can deal with the color scheme.

Aesthetics of rigs matter

Figured the Noctuas would be the best bet, just wanted to see if there were any options I didn't know of. Ended up going with two of the NF-A14 from Amazon: http://amzn.com/B00CP6QLY6

Thanks again.

I had great results with the H100 I had using Cougar Vortex Hydro Bearing fans. Kept the fans on their lowest settings and my temps were great.
