NZXT CAM: Android

There are not much info about when NZXT cam is coming out exept for the page https://cam.nzxt.com/
The android software have been delayed 2 times now and i dont see many people talking about it or even seeing it.


It could simply be that NZXT need time do develop the software more since CAM is their first piece of software.

Isn't it kinda buggy?

 eGPU Setup: Macbook Pro 13" 16GB DDR3 RAM, 512GB SSD, i5 3210M, GTX 980 eGPU

New PC: i7-4790k, Corsair H100iGTX, ASrock Fatal1ty Z97 Killer, 24GB Ram, 850 EVO 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD, GTX 1080 Fractal Design R4, EVGA Supernova G2 650W

Do not use CAM. It uses a lot of your system resources when idle, and can cause lag spikes...

Very unoptimised piece of software.

this has been completely annoying and frustrating. i have been thoroughly excited ever since the announcement of cam coming to android. and with the delays its making me more and more uninterested in even using it when it finally releases even if it does. i understand that companies need time to work kinks out to release a fully functioning product for consumers but really two delays? and the second delay pushed it back a lot farther than the original. cmon nzxt be honest with us and not give release "months" that cannot be attained.

It works pretty well for me, A little slow at times but it works.

@Enderman
I only drop 1 to 5 fps in most games and i dont experience lag spikes from cam anymore.

The optimisations will be better in time and i like the UI since it is pretty fast when it comes to navigating.



It is NZXTs first piece of software so im using it to show them i have some intrest in it.

They delaying the release is not that big of a deal for me, I got time to wait.
Im more annoyed becouse they dont really say why.
I can only make assumptions of why.

I have seen screenshots from people of CAM using anywhere from 15 to 70%of their CPU.

It is at 2 to 10% load for me depending on how heavy other programs are.
