are they all the same exact type of ram? if they are you can use 3 sticks.

I have ran systems with different ram in the past but they have always given me stability problems. You could try it and it will run but it will be slow and possibly unstable. 

If the sticks have different speed settings try and setting them all to 1333mHz in your bios, that will help a bit. Also check the timings on the memory and try and match those as well. 

This will give you the best chance of running the system for a longer period of time if you don;t have the budget to buy new ram.

yes, i have 4 pcs of 4gb of corsair dominators only 3 of them are working the other one is dead i think. because when i put it in my ram slot my pc turns on then shutdowns automatically and then turns on again...idk whats the problem any suggestion guys on how to fix or revive this ram stick? rma is no longer an option.
