Is the fan still running?

As far as i know the peak for that cooler is around 80-90 on full load so is not that bad consider the fact that the cpu is oc for not reason to 4 ghz

Beware of him that is slow to anger; for when it is long coming, it is the stronger when it comes, and the longer kept. Abused patience turns to fury.

Since the OP linked a shot of Core temp they must be referring to this

evga_superclock_001.jpg

If that is in fact the case OP then either your case has poor airflow or your ambient temperature it quite high. That cooler performs about the same as a 212 Evo so you shouldn't be hitting temps like that with such a small OC unless you're running too much voltage or one of the things I mentioned before is happening.

If you could share more about your system we will be able to help you better, include things like full system specs including what case you're using and what airflow configuration you have set up. Your ambient temperature would also be useful as well as what type of fans you're using and what kind of profiles you have them running on.

Oh I thought you were referring to the graphics card. Try cleaning it and reseating it.

Well that case has awful airflow so that's one contributing factor, the CPU cooler is starving as there is very little fresh air getting to it.

Have you removed it, cleaned the old thermal paste off, applied new paste and reseated it yet?

Never say it's not broken. Everything is broken. Why? Because everything needs MOAR POWA!
