Sucks being Canadian right now.

You shut your fucking mouth.

:P

But really. Most of Canada lives within driving distance of the border. And if you don't you should be making enough money that the price difference means nothing ;)

since this is the price and not a sale, you can still price match it at bestbuy or microcenter

yeah,  Other parts are even more bloated compared to the US.

But, its a beautiful country I live in.  And no country can ever be perfect

except maybe Hawaii...

The UK's prices are pretty bloated, but I've noticed Australia and NZ prices are crazy.

Would you suggest getting this now or waiting for the 880?

now the 780 is almost priced where it should be. But...that 3GB buffer is such a hindrance with a lot of new games, that it's better to just wait for Maxwell imo. (ducks head to avoid fanboy rage about memory buffer).

Sucks being Canadian right now.

A couple weeks ago memory express had (I believe it was) $100+ off instantly and a $60 mail in rebate or something on some 780tis, pretty sure there was one down to 639. Right now the asus direct cu ii card is down to 679 after 30 mail in rebate. I'd imagine companies (especially the smaller ones) will be scrambling trying to get rid of older cards before the holiday season.

I always guarantee that no more than 50% of what I say is useful.

Well, seeing as how it ships here (I think I'd be happy with the basic, non-express shipping of 7-12 days anyways), I think I'll keep on being a Canadian without any "suck"
