Hello,

My Goal is to be able to boot my pc into the PS4 Operating System.  A seemingly impossible task, but it has to be possible.  Even though it may not work because of hardware compatibility, i just want to get it to boot into PS4 OS.  My idea is to get a new 2.5 inch hdd, or hybrid, or ssd (doesn't matter), Put it into my ps4, use the ps4 update file on a flash drive, install the OS onto the drive, take it out of the PS4, put it in my PC, and boot from that.  Would that work.  Any other ideas?

I can help with programming and hardware.

Why do you think emulators exist? Booting the os of a console on a pc would mean you could play those games natively. If nobody has ever done it there must be a reason... It's like using diesel fuel in a non-diesel engine.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

As nice as that might sound im positive that ps4's OS has some serious security that will detect missing hardware and will absolutely not work. Try again in 10 years.
