Razer Kraken 7.1 Chroma doesn't feature LED backlit headband

RazRRRRRR apple pricing, sound by fisher price. 

 

This was on my mind a while back: what if, say, someone absolutely loves the looks and design of the razer (with all the shiny LEDs and whatnot), but looking for a fairly decent sound. What if he/she get a razer, and another headphone, say audio-technica ones (decent quality vs price), and install the AT drivers into the razer? Granted, the sounds will be a bit (or maybe not just a bit) off, because of the different cups, but might be do-able. The blings of a razer with the sound of audio-technica.....

Ear cups and pads have as much or more effect on sound than the driver; so that might work, or be a disaster.

Even this MSRP $14900 (yep, that's the right price, 15 grand) headphone looks quite boring and tbh a bit crappy:

Even that is assuming you could mount the 53mm driver without damaging it in the first place.
