So im looking to populate the rear, 2x top and 1 side hdd cage fan slots on a 500r. I want quite quality fans without paying for that bullshit noctua price. Also blue led's would be nice. If they have blue led's im replacing my front fans too. Also anyone know of cheap clue accent lighting cables that dont suck?

 

EDIT:What im replacing 

2x front 140mm (or 120mm

2x top 140mm or 120mm

1 rear 120

1 mounted on the front of hdd blowing at gpu 120mm

For fans, there are Corsair AF120s and AF140s, which have blue LEDs. If you're putting them right in front of the drive cage, get the SP series instead (SP120 and SP140).

There are no SP140's and there are no LED SP120's. Also SP's are loud and only perform well at their max RPM's, the quiet editions are also junk.

 

OP they aren't LED but Rosewill Hyperborea's are fantastic and inexpensive. Cooler Master Sickleflow fans aren't bad either and you can get LED versions.

There are SP140s, and only with LEDs. Check Corsair's site. And yes, you are correct about the SP120s - no LEDs there.

They haven't updated their site yet, still SP's look nice but they're bleh and sound like vacuum cleaners.

its hard to find any decent fans for under 10$ that have LEDs btw

I get it, you can stop with the links. Doesn't change the fact that SP's are bad.

they are not bad fans though you can get far far worse for the intended applications

You can get better for less, I have about a half a dozen SP's I know how they are.
